We are one of the few academic programs that offer both Bachelor and Master of Science degree options in the profession of medical imaging and radiation sciences.

Our graduates have many career options in this profession, including opportunities for advancement. We provide a comprehensive education preparing students for entry-level practice in medical imaging and radiation sciences as competent, caring members of the health care team, cultivating professionalism and life-long learning.

Our Master of Science program offers tracks for experienced professionals to gain leadership, management or specific imaging skills.

Choose Your Program

In addition to a Master of Science program, we have two Bachelor of Science program options, depending on your experience in the profession. BS students choose one concentration option for a 12-month program; or two for the 24-month program. All concentrations prepare students for success in a specific area of technological practice in their future career.

  • 1-Year Bachelor of Science (study one concentration in 12 months; for students with the specific prerequisite credits and either a Bachelor's degree or proof of completion of an accredited program in medical imaging and radiation sciences)
  • 2-Year Dual-Concentration Bachelor of Science (study two concentrations in 24 months; for students with the specific prerequisite credits and with no education in the medical imaging and radiation sciences to earn a BS in Medical Imaging & Radiation Sciences)
  • Master of Science in Medical Imaging & Radiation Sciences (for students with a BS in Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences. Choose one track: education, management, ICVT, CT or Sonography, non-clinical)

What Our Graduates Are Saying:

“I gained invaluable skills to become a medical dosimetrist that I am today including communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Now I am a lead medical dosimetrist at Penn Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.  I am also serving as a CMD at-large representative on the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) Board of Directors, and volunteering to generate quiz questions in the Directed Journal Reading (DJR) committee for the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists (AAMD). One piece of advice for students is: Don’t be afraid to ask questions.  No one knows everything.  Medical Dosimetry is a forever-learning profession.”
