The award-winning and CIDA Accredited MS in Interior Architecture is a leading graduate program in interior design, known for its excellence in education. The program offers several tracks that meet the needs of students from different backgrounds including non-design, interior design, and architecture and integrates research, theory, design, and technology to foster creativity and innovation.

Emphasizing practical application and leadership skills, students explore the implications of their design decisions on human experience, well-being and environmental sustainability. Our commitment to a balanced approach is reflected in the emphasis on global, cultural, social, aesthetic, technological, environmental and ethical considerations.

This STEM program's collaborative and multidisciplinary focus is exemplified through a summer study away component with partner programs in Copenhagen, Denmark; Rome, Italy; Nantucket, Massachusetts and beyond.

Apply by February 1 to be considered for Graduate Student Assistantships and Scholarships.

    The MSIA Program at Thomas Jefferson University opened my eyes to all of the possibilities in the field of interior architecture. Coming from an undergraduate program in Psychology, I was not confident I would have the skills to be a successful designer, but I have received nothing short of amazing support from faculty, have learned software and design techniques I never knew were possible and am constantly being introduced to opportunities to further my career and education in design.
