Advanced Practice Certificates

Advanced practice certificates in Occupational Therapy offer specialized knowledge in a specific area to individuals with a BS or MS in occupational therapy. All certificate credits can be used toward our Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy. Each certificate consists of four graduate-level courses that total 12 credits and can be completed part-time over 12 -16 months. All certificates can be completed entirely online. 

Cert - Emerging Leaders

This certificate offers registered and licensed occupational therapists advanced knowledge about Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and skills for working with persons who have ASD.


Cert - Digital Age

This specialty certificate offers registered and licensed occupational therapists fundamental knowledge and skills to teach OT curricula in schools and other applied settings.


Cert - Neurosci

This advanced practice certificate is designed for registered and licensed occupational therapists, physical therapists and other rehabilitation professionals who wish to participate in advanced study of neuroscience and neuro-based rehabilitation intervention strategies. 


Cert - Neurocog Disorders

Gain advanced knowledge about cutting-edge developments in research and practice in the field of neurocognitive disorders. Courses include lectures by neurologists and psychiatrists on diagnostic approaches and medical interventions.
