Christine Fisher, PhD , is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory in Cambridge, Mass. She is developing research technologies which enable more predictive pre-clinical drug efficacy. Most recently, her team adapted miniature lung models to SARS-CoV-2 infection to study antiviral drugs.

At Jefferson, Dr. Fisher studied in the Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis PhD program under Dr. Matthias Schnell. Her thesis work focused on developing a vaccine against rabies-related viruses.

Prior to her studies at Jefferson, Dr. Fisher worked on antibody technologies as a Research Associate at Integral Molecular and earned her BS from Drexel University.
