Tara earned a PhD in Immunology and Microbiology from Thomas Jefferson University, where she conducted her thesis research on colorectal cancer immunotherapy in the Snook/Waldman Lab. After graduate school, Tara spent several years at a leading medical communications agency before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry at Bristol Myers Squibb. Currently, she is the Director of Global Medical Communications, driving scientific publication, content, and medical education/training strategy for key priority assets in the Hematology/Oncology portfolio.
