Jefferson Alumni Network User Guide

Non-registered users
- To verify your information, sign up here: https://alumninetwork.jefferson.edu/signup
- This will send your information to the Jefferson Alumni Relations team to approve your request. Once accepted, you will receive an email with a login link, as well as additional information on the Jefferson Alumni Network. The approval process can take up to 2 business days.
Users with an account
- Log in to your user account using the following link: Live feed | Thomas Jefferson University Alumni Network
- When a user logs in, it will land on the user’s profile. Fill out your profile as much or as little as possible. Users can add information such as location, affiliations, skills, education, and more. The more you personalize your profile, the more alumni will be able to connect with users!
How to access “Groups”
- Look for the white banner at the top of the screen. Tabs will include Home, Live Feed, Groups, Resources and more. User should click Groups.
- If the user is already in a group, those groups will show up first on the page. If not, scroll down until you see “See all groups”.
- Scroll down until the user sees their group. Click “Join Group”. This will automatically allow the user to join the affiliated group. Click “Go to Group”.
- Once in the group, user can introduce themselves to the group, by creating a post with their name, affiliation, location, etc. Be creative!
- For example: “Good afternoon SKMC Class of 1964. My name is Madison McHugh and I currently live in Philadelphia, PA. I am a practicing pediatrician in Center City, Philadelphia.”
- Explore the group. Look through who joined the group under “Members” and participate in any discussions under “Forums.”
