Happy Holidays
Hello, friends!
This is Michael Angelo, archivist at Thomas Jefferson University. I know, I know—this isn’t one of my famous videos, but my personal make-up artist is away on vacation, so no video this month! Consider this my holiday note to all of you.
In the archives, we’re surrounded by history, where every photograph and film reel hold a story waiting to be unwrapped—much like the treasures we hold close during this festive season. This time of year, take a moment to reflect on the moments that brought us together, the traditions we’ve created, and the memories we continue to cherish.
As you celebrate, remember that history isn’t just in the past—it’s the foundation for everything we hold dear today. So, whether you’re enjoying the glow of holiday lights or the warmth of loved ones, know that the stories of yesterday are always there to inspire and guide us.
From all of us in the Siegman Archives, we wish you peace, joy, and a very happy holiday season! And as always, Keep Learning!
Warm regards,
Michael Angelo
Creating Our Third Century
Make your mark on history. In 2024, Jefferson celebrates its bicentennial year. For our students, patients, and communities, the path forward is clear, and new horizons await. Join us in celebrating this 200-year milestone. The Bicentennial Fund will be our springboard into our third century, allowing us to fast-track innovative research, open doors for promising students, propel clinical care, close equity gaps in the community, and much more.
