Jul 17, 2025
Michael Angelo

Do not go where the path may lead, but go where there is no path and leave a trail.

Ralph Waldo Emerson

As July marks Minority History Month, F. Michael Angelo, MA, the Robert M. Stein, MD ’68, FACC, FAHA Archivist at Thomas Jefferson University, uncovers stories of Jefferson trailblazers, many of whom have come from underrepresented communities, including the first Black men and women to graduate, the first Hispanic men and women to graduate, the first scholarship for first-year LGBTQ students, and more.

Join us in exploring these important moments in Jefferson’s history, and as always, keep learning!
