Research & Clinical Interests

I have 15 years executive experience in the fields of biotechnology, molecular biology, microbiology for the medical diagnostic industry. I managed a product development division focused on clinical research, biomarker assay development and medical device production. During my time in industry, I also taught the Applied Microbial Biotechnology course at Thomas Jefferson University. Now as the Jefferson Biotechnology Program Director, I work with my dedicated faculty team and apply my career knowledge and skills to offer a highly competitive Biotechnology program at Thomas Jefferson University, designed to provide graduates with the unique ability to adapt and innovate in any research environment and product-driven industry. My current research interest is the development of point-of-use diagnostic assays and reagents for the medical and biotechnology industries.
