Adjunct Faculty
Mr. Butler combines both an academic and operational background with more than 19 years in emergency medical services and management. As an educator, Mr. Butler has provided instruction and training to a myriad of students including first responders, healthcare and government personnel in emergency medicine and emergency management. Mr. Butler is also on the faculty of Philadelphia University's School of Continuing and Professional Studies. Currently, Mr. Butler is the Manager of Emergency Preparedness for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), a global leader in pediatric healthcare. He earned his BS in Health Services Management and an MS in Disaster Medicine and Management both from Philadelphia University. Mr. Butler holds specialized certifications in emergency preparedness and disaster response and is also a certified paramedic and firefighter.
