Drs. Jeannette Kates & Anne Mitchell Selected as Distinguished Educators

Drs. Jeannette Kates and Anne Mitchell have been selected as Distinguished Educators in Gerontological Nursing from the National Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence. 

This honor recognizes the leadership of nurse educators working with students, faculty, providers, and older people in diverse settings. 

Dr. Anne Mitchell, ANP-BC, FGSA is an Assistant Professor for the Jefferson College of Nursing for the undergraduate programs. Dr. Mitchell currently serves as the Faculty Co-Leader of the Jefferson Health Mentors Program.

Dr. Jeannette Kates, CRNP, AGPCNP-BC, GNP-BC is an Associate Professor for the Jefferson College of Nursing. Dr. Kates is the director of the Adult Gerontology Primiary Nurse Practitioner Program.
