Summary
Lauren Meloni is a healthcare leader who currently holds the title of Associate Administrator for the Acute Care Surgery Division at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital (TJUH), spanning to other trauma centers in the Jefferson Health enterprise. Lauren oversees inpatient and outpatient operations for the acute care surgery, trauma, and burn services. In this role she focuses on operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and interdisciplinary collaboration to support high quality patient care across clinical environments.
Previously, Lauren served as the Regulatory Manager at TJUH, where she led and supported inpatient and outpatient projects involving the Pennsylvania Department of Health and The Joint Commission. Her work in this capacity strengthened organizational survey readiness, and continuous improvement efforts across multiple service lines.
Earlier in her career, Lauren worked at Cooper University Hospital as a Physical Therapist Assistant, a role that she still holds in a per diem capacity to maintain her clinical knowledge and hands-on patient experience. This clinical background provides valuable perspective in her administrative leadership and reinforces her commitment to patient-centered care.
