Christina Wong, DHSc, MAS, MHSA, FHFMA

Dr. Christina Wong is committed to advancing tools, policies, and data that improve population health. She has experience in healthcare administration and financial operations within hospitals, health systems, and community health in urban and rural communities. Her work portfolio includes collaborating with different levels of administrative and clinical stakeholders for project implementations, business planning, financial modelling and reporting, managed care operations, and capital projects. She also liaisoned with physician practices, community organizations, and local health departments.

Dr. Wong is a graduate of the Jefferson College of Population Health’s Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) program, where she researched the condition of government surveillance reporting on child mental health issues. She has a Master of Applied Science (MAS) from Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) from the University of Michigan.  She is also a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA).

During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was an advisor to CovidSMS, where a group of undergraduates created an SMS platform for local non-profits to reach their low-income recipients. CovidSMS tied for 1st place in the 2020 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Emergency Response for the General Public Innovation Challenge.
