RESEARCH & CLINICAL INTEREST

Dr. Anjali Mishra is a translational scientist whose research focuses on advancing the understanding and treatment of T-cell and natural killer (NK) cell malignancies. Her work investigates the molecular and immunologic mechanisms that drive the development and progression of aggressive hematologic cancers, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets and improving patient outcomes.

Her research integrates cancer biology, cytokine signaling, epigenetic regulation, and immune system interactions to better define the pathways that contribute to treatment resistance and disease progression. By combining genomic and molecular approaches with preclinical therapeutic development, Dr. Mishra's laboratory seeks to translate scientific discoveries into innovative targeted therapies for patients with rare and difficult-to-treat blood cancers.

Current areas of investigation include peripheral T-cell lymphoma, cutaneous T-cell lymphoma, Sézary syndrome, T-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia, T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia, and NK-cell malignancies. Her research also explores biomarker discovery, precision medicine strategies, and combination therapeutic approaches designed to improve responses to emerging treatments and support future clinical trials.
