You've Been Talking About Death A Lot by Sara Guiang

I was having a conversation with someone close to me when they said to me, “you’ve been talking about death a lot”. I think when I do talk about death, I’m struggling in an often-existential sense to understand the purpose of so much when a lot of things don’t seem to make sense. Thinking about death feels like thinking about space, which I have trouble really wrapping my brain around. It feels too vast, with death almost at the center of it all- which is what inspired this piece. I also find that bright colors are such a consistent theme in my life because they bring life to anything they touch.
