Thank you for your interest in Radiologic Sciences at Thomas Jefferson University!

Jefferson College of Health Professions has partnered with AHCAS, the Central Application Service for Allied Health Professionals, to collect and manage applications to the Radiologic Sciences program.

To apply, please follow the instructions below:

Create an account in AHCAS through the applicant portal found here and follow the directons to complete the application.

You can only select one program designation per application term.  If you select multiple designations, your application will not be processed. You will also be charged additional fees for selecting multiple designations.

2+2 Multicompetency: Please select your first year program designation (ex. General Sonography) and provide your second year choice on the supplemental application.

1 Year Advanced Placement (please select one modality).

If your courses were completed outside of the United States, you must submit a course-by-course evaluation from WES (www.wes.org)

Submit an essay, "Describing an experience that demonstrates your interest and commitment to your chosen health profession" via AHCAS. Click here to see AHCAS personal statement submission instructions.

Two letters of recommendation are required by AHCAS for application completion.

Students will need to provide the name, title and email address of recommenders during time of application. AHCAS will email a recommendation form directly to the references.  References return the recommendation form directly to AHCAS, not the student. 

If you have letters of recommendation previously written for you by a reference, contact your counselor directly.

Submit the $95 application fee to AHCAS.

* All required documents such as transcripts and letters of recommendation must be sent directly to AHCAS – please do not send these to our office. If you send them to our office, you will have to request new copies to send to AHCAS.

Admissions Deadline Dates

Admission to the Radiologic Sciences programs is on a rolling basis. 

International Students:  May 15

International applicants who are coming from abroad or who are in the U.S. on a non-F-1 visa are strongly encouraged to submit their admission application by May 15th to ensure enough time to complete the visa process.  Jefferson will still accept and review international applications after May 15th but may need to defer the application to a later start term due to the visa application timeline.

Note:  International applicants who are currently in the U.S. studying in F-1 status with another College have until July 15th to submit their admission application.

U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and International Students with Current F-1 Visas:  July 15
