Fulbright Scholars Discover Their Passions at Jefferson
Fulbright, created in 1946 by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, includes more than a dozen unique exchange programs, including the Fulbright Foreign Student Program, which awards international young professionals merit-based grants to complete graduate studies at U.S. universities. We spoke with two current Fulbright Foreign Student Program scholars at Jefferson to learn more about their experiences.

Once again, Jefferson fashion design students earned one of the industry’s biggest honors. The prestigious Fashion Scholarship Fund (FSF)—a leading fashion-oriented education and workforce development nonprofit organization—named five University students Class of 2023 Scholars.
Pharmacy Students Pivot to Today’s Health Crises, Including the Pandemic & Opioids
When the pandemic hit in 2020, many Jefferson programs made adjustments to allow students to aid in relief efforts. Among them was the Jefferson College of Pharmacy doctor of pharmacy program.
Designing Cities for Future Generations
A particularly important part of addressing global warming and improving sustainability is our focus on city ecosystems and the need to examine them. Peng Du, PhD, director of Jefferson’s Urban Design and Geodesign programs, and his colleagues are exploring how to use data-driven and simulation-based tools to address climate change, urban population, public health and resource depletion.
