Thomas Jefferson University’s BS in Interior Design program's mission is to prepare students to be independent thinkers, innovative problem-solvers, collaborators, and leaders with high standards of professionalism, integrity, and excellence in design.
With an emphasis on creativity, balanced with the knowledge and skills required for meaningful contributions to the interior design profession, we instill in students an understanding of the global, cultural, social, aesthetic, technological, environmental, and ethical responsibilities inherent to the design of interior environments. Grounded in the belief that interior designers shape the relationship between people and the built environment, Jefferson’s BS in Interior Design program equips students to improve lives through thoughtful, responsible and innovative design. Graduates enter the global marketplace as articulate, creative, and socially engaged design professionals.
