Preparing You for What’s Next

At the Jefferson College of Business, we prepare the next generation of business leaders, innovators and entrepreneurs. Our mission is to provide a dynamic learning environment focused on innovation, industry immersion, analytics and research that empowers students to become impactful contributors to organizations and society.

Business remains one of the most in-demand fields of study because it offers adaptability, relevance and pathways to meaningful careers across industries. Through a market-facing curriculum, immersive industry experiences and a commitment to lifelong learning, we equip students with the knowledge, skills and mindset needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy.

We are a community driven by innovation, collaboration and impact. By integrating business education with the liberal arts, technology, analytics and real-world application, we empower students to transform ideas into opportunities and challenges into solutions.

As part of Thomas Jefferson University, the College of Business benefits from a uniquely interconnected academic and professional ecosystem. We work closely with the University’s colleges, research centers and enterprise partners to create meaningful opportunities for experiential learning, interdisciplinary collaboration, research and career development. Thomas Jefferson University comprises 11 colleges offering more than 200 undergraduate and graduate programs to over 8,300 students, creating a rich environment for cross-disciplinary engagement and innovation.

Students also gain access to the broader Jefferson enterprise, including Jefferson Health—one of the nation’s leading not-for-profit health systems and the largest provider in the Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley regions. With 32 hospital campuses and more than 700 outpatient and urgent care locations, Jefferson Health provides unparalleled opportunities for applied learning, research, consulting projects, internships and employment. In addition, Jefferson Health Plans, a not-for-profit managed healthcare organization serving Pennsylvania and New Jersey for more than 35 years, offers valuable insights into healthcare management, finance, analytics and population health. Together, these partnerships provide students with direct exposure to complex organizations and real-world business challenges across multiple industries.

With ten undergraduate programs, four graduate programs, nine certificate programs and eleven minors offered through both on-campus and online modalities, we provide flexible pathways for students and working professionals at every stage of their educational and professional journeys.

Our students gain more than business knowledge. They develop the communication, leadership, critical thinking and problem-solving skills that employers value most while building meaningful connections with faculty, alumni and industry partners through experiential learning, interdisciplinary collaboration and professional engagement opportunities.

For more than fifty years, we have built a strong reputation for preparing students not only for their first job but for a lifetime of leadership, growth and meaningful contribution. As a lifelong learning hub, the Jefferson College of Business is committed to helping students and alumni continuously develop the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in an increasingly dynamic and competitive world.
