Professor Diane Merry has been honored with an appointment to the Life Sciences Cluster of the Committee of Science and the Arts at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role Dr. Merry will collaborate with fellow leaders in academia and industry to recognize and award scientific and technological achievements from around the world through recommendations for the annual awarding of the Benjamin Franklin Medals. The Committee plays a key role in supporting the Institute's mission to inspire learning and celebrate scientific advancement, identifying candidates within the scientific community who have made unique and positive impacts on society by expanding knowledge and challenging standards.
