The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center (SKCCC) at Thomas Jefferson University has named Assistant Professor, Michael Soniat, PhD, the 2026 recipient of the Early Career Achievement Award, colloquially known as the “Up and Comer Award”.
Designed to highlight faculty investigators with fewer than 10 years of experience, the award celebrates those who have displayed a unique capacity for leadership and a commitment to collaborative science. Dr. Soniat’s work at SKCCC exemplifies the Center's mission to foster a culture of teamwork in order to accelerate the pace of cancer discovery.
