Dr. Boron-Brenner is focused on the intersection of palliative care and acute care in the emergency department. His specific research interests involve interpretation of advance directives in the Emergency Department, acute pain and symptom management, and the educational needs of emergency medicine residents who are learning to care for patients with significant illness.
