Research & Clinical Interests
Dr. Policarpo is a board-certified gastroenterologist with clinical interests across the full spectrum of general gastrointestinal conditions. Her areas of interest include irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), constipation, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth (SIBO), celiac disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), dysphagia, and inflammatory bowel diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease. She is also interested in colon cancer screening, gastrointestinal bleeding, nutrition, and women’s gastrointestinal health.
