Redesigning W3C Specification Experience

In Fall 2017, the User Experience and Interaction Design program at Jefferson University was invited to participate in a project with the World Wide Web Consortium (the W3C). In Spring 2018, we established a class and a small working group to provide visual design or CSS recommendations for the W3C’s specification pages.

We set an aggressive timeline and I am very proud to say that my students delivered a fully-considered first draft in 15 weeks. This recommendation and the work that accompanies it will serve as a starting point for Elika Etimad and other members of the Specification Redesign project at the W3C.
