How does the STEM OPT rule benefit international students?
Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a type of work authorization for F-1 student visa holders that provides an opportunity for employment in the United States. STEM OPT allows international students to be eligible for an additional 24 months of OPT for a total of 36 months of employment within their discipline.
