Research & Clinical Interest

My research interests are in Health Outcomes, specifically improving outcomes for patients with chronic conditions via patient-provider communications and interventions, including increasing patient engagement in their health care. My focus is on designing such protocols, working on strengthening methodology and measurement of pharmacist-driven programs and disseminating information on provider impact to the profession, the health care community at large and policymakers, via publications and professional networks. Another area of interest is Practice and Payment Transformation, by creating innovative models that are patient-centric and able to provide recognition and reimbursement for pharmacist clinical services. These areas of interest are a synergy of my training in health outcomes and my background as a pharmacist. My research also extends to educational assessment and outcomes.
