The Department of Medical Education provides a platform for pedagogical excellence, faculty advancement, institutional innovation and increased national prominence for Sidney Kimmel Medical College. This department is comprised of highly trained faculty with expertise in education and scholarship. Our goal is to promote educational research in the context of the delivery of superior educational services.
Department Divisions
- Division of Medical Education Scholarship - Fosters, supports, disseminates and rewards research in the field of medical education.
- Division of Anatomy Education - For faculty in both teaching and scholarship tracks that provide pedagogical and hand-on educational excellence in human anatomy.
- Division of Medical Education Research Support - Academic home of the Asano-Gonella Center for Research in Medical Education and Health Care to support the SKMC faculty and administration in evaluating the knowledge, skills and professionalism of students throughout the MD curriculum.
