Department of Medical Education

Inquiry is one of the fundamental missions of the Department of Medical Education. Our faculty have a range of backgrounds, including physicians, physical therapist and education researchers; and they are engaged in research ranging from the study of educational outcomes to better understanding of healthcare systems.

The Division of Medical Educational Research Support is the academic home of the Asano-Gonella Center for Research in Medical Education and Health Care, which combines service to the Jefferson community with a broad spectrum of research studies and other externally funded projects.
