Biostatistics Education & Training

The Division of Biostatistics offers a number of formal and informal training opportunities. These include:

  • Training of researchers throughout Jefferson through lectures and seminars.
  • Formal and informal training of Jefferson's medical students ("Evidence Based Medicine" and "Scholarly Inquiry Program") through the Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
  • Formal courses for Jefferson graduate students ("Statistical Methods of Data Analysis," "Fundamentals of Clinical Trials") through the Jefferson College of Life Sciences.
  • A semi-structured summer internship for qualified undergraduate and graduate students in quantitative fields.
