Financing for Transfer Students

Thomas Jefferson University is committed to making a high-quality, professional education affordable for every qualified student. Our Financial Aid Office works diligently to identify scholarships, assistantships, work-study and loan opportunities in order to make a Jefferson education within reach.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid

We encourage all eligible students to apply for financial aid, regardless of financial circumstances. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be accessed at studentaid.gov. Please list Jefferson's FAFSA school code (013549) on your FAFSA form.

Transfer Financial Aid & Scholarships

All transfer students are automatically considered for University academic scholarships based on their program of intent. Eligibility and scholarship amounts vary based on program and academic achievement.

Jefferson recognizes and celebrates students who have been inducted into their community college’s chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK). PTK members are eligible to receive an academic award totaling $2,000 per year.

We encourage students to seek outside scholarship opportunities to support their academic endeavors.
