Provost Award for Creative Achievement

Discovery Awards

The Award for Creative Achievement recognizes a Thomas Jefferson University faculty member for significant contribution to their field through creative achievement.  The faculty member’s contribution may take the form of a body of work or a single significant contribution to their field.  Up to one award will be given.

Nomination Process: Faculty may be nominated for this award by their College Dean or by the College’s Faculty Affairs Committee. Nominations should be approved by the College’s Executive Committee and the Dean prior to submission.  Ancillary Provost (Assistant Provosts, etc.) are eligible to nominate faculty.   The nomination packet should include a one to two-page letter of nomination, unabridged curriculum vitae, and documentation supporting the contributions to the field through creative achievement.

Eligibility: All faculty members with at least two years of service at Thomas Jefferson University are eligible to receive this award.  A faculty member who has received this award is not eligible to receive the same award more than once.   Deans, Department Chairs and Academic Administrators are not eligible for this award.
