Dr. Jabbour takes a special interest in the treatment of retinoblastoma in collaboration with Dr. Carol Shields, an ophthalmologist at Wills Eye Institute and professor at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College.  Dr. Jabbour administers intra-arterial chemotherapy in the ophthalmic artery to children suffering from this rare and debilitating ocular cancer.  He is an expert in intra-arterial chemotherapy and his work in this field has made Jefferson and Wills Eye Hospital an international destination for retinoblastoma treatment.

Dr. Jabbour is one of the pioneers in neuroendovascular robotics, lecturing and speaking on this topic and more throughout the world. He has authored more than 400 papers in peer-reviewed journals, including Stroke, Neurosurgery, Interventional Neuroradiology, Ophthalmology and Retina.  Dr. Jabbour serves on the editorial board of Neurosurgery and is a reviewer for Neurosurgery, Neuroradiology, Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery and the Journal of Neurointerventional Surgery.  He is the author of a comprehensive textbook, Neurovascular Surgical Techniques.
