JCLS PhD student, Sushrut Shah, received 1st place in the highly competitive 2025 International Forum on Research Excellence sponsored by Sigma Xi. The theme of this year's conference was "Science and Society: Crafting a Vision for a Sustainable Tomorrow," where Sushrut presented "Developing Sustainable Therapeutics for Heart Failure." Sushrut was inducted as a new member of TJU's chapter of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society, this year. Congratulations, Sushrut!
Recognizing JCLS Computational Medicine researcher, Dr. Isidore Rigoutsos, for his group's discovery of a new connection between ribosomal RNAs and genes linked to brain function and mental health. Contributing authors include JCLS MS Program Director, Dr. Eric Londin, and former Jefferson postdoctoral fellow, Dr. Stepan Nersisyan.
