The EHWP offers long-term psychotherapy and/or medication management services. To arrange an intake appointment, Jefferson House Staff Officers may call 445-270-7435. If there is no answer, please clearly state your name and phone number on the confidential voicemail. Your call will be returned within one business day. Our staff will collect some basic information to match you with an available staff member, based upon your individual needs. Every effort will be made to schedule an appointment as soon as possible.
Keeping regular appointments is a critical part of the treatment process. House Staff Officers who need to reschedule or cancel an appointment should call the EHWP or email their provider as soon as possible.
If the situation is an emergency after normal working hours, House Staff Officers should call 988, 911, or go to their nearest emergency room.
The EHWP also offers outreach programming and may offer workshops for specific Residency or Fellowship programs or groups of House Staff Officers upon request. To inquire, please call 445-270-7435.
These forms may be sent to you electronically prior to your intake appointment, or for in-person intakes, you may complete them in the office.
Information provided in counseling by patients is confidential and information released to other parties will be done with a patient’s written permission, except where authorized by law, such as where the patient presents a serious risk of violence to another person and/or imminent danger of serious harm to self or where there is a reasonable suspicion of or potential for the abuse of children, elderly persons, or dependent adults.
Many House Staff Officers utilize multiple services offered by the EHWP including counseling and psychopharmacologic services. The EHWP utilizes a collaborative approach to the mental health treatment of House Staff Officers. Due to the EHWP treatment team framework, EHWP staff may confer with each other as professionally necessary in order to provide House Staff Officers the best possible service. When House Staff Officers receive care from more than one EHWP clinician, collaboration is essential to providing quality care.
The EHWP provides third party consultation by offering general direction and/or strategies for support. Depending on the nature of the concern, the third party may be directed to other supports and resources, such as reporting their concerns to GME or the Program.
House Staff Officers are eligible for services for as long as they are Jefferson House Staff. All individual appointments will be billed to the House Staff Officer’s insurance. Our services are in network with the Jefferson insurance. Check your plan for copay information Those with other insurances should check with their insurance provider and EHWP staff.
