The Office of Residential Life provides a living, learning environment that promotes a wholistic approach to the residential experience. All three residence halls are centrally located on campus. Barringer, Orlowitz and Martin Halls are safe and comfortable facilities in an atmosphere that contributes to students' academic success. Living on campus will enhance your experience at the University – on campus residents have the opportunity to meet students outside of their academic programs and benefit from the close proximity to classes and the hospital.

In addition to being close to the university and hospital, the residence halls are also located within a short walking distance of many restaurants, stores, transportation centers and other city landmarks. We look forward to having you on-campus!

Why I live @ Jeff

Leyna Sassani

"I love living at TJU because I can immerse myself in my studies and really get involved in the events held on campus. It is also a great opportunity to be a part of the city and the TJU community! There is always something to do here!"

"I love living at TJU because I am able to truly immerse myself in the culture of both Jefferson and Philadelphia. It is so nice to be able to have quick access to classes, the library, and university resources. There is always something going on in Center City or on campus, and its amazing to live in the heart of it all! "

Nancy Tang

"I love living at TJU because there are always events or activities throughout the week hosted by various organizations/ departments (including DHRL) and I can easily partake by being on-campus. Most events are free, have food or snacks, and help me to stay involved. It's also a plus to be able to walk to class or the library in less than five minutes!"

Weelic Chong

"I enjoy living on campus because it is very convenient and close to the school, hospital and center-city Philadelphia. It's a one-minute walk right down the street! The neighbors are nice and quiet. The building front desk staff are kind people and nice to talk to. There are many free events on campus and if you live on-campus, it makes it a lot easier to go to these events to get food or meet new friends of course! "
