The intention of the program was to showcase the many different professions involving the built environment, including interior design, landscape architecture, construction management, architecture and real estate development.

Jefferson’s College of Architecture and the Built Environment recently received accreditation for its BS in construction management program from ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology). This accreditation assures our program meets the standards to produce graduates ready to enter technical fields and lead the way working with emerging technologies.

The corner of 38th and Melon Streets is the subject of Thomas Jefferson University's "Park in a Truck" program, which enables community leaders like Drummond to organize and build green gathering spaces on previously empty land.

Aiming to become a world-renowned leader in developing smart and healthy cities in the face of climate change, social inequity, rapid urbanization and health disparity, three Thomas Jefferson University colleges formally teamed up to launch the Institute for Smart and Healthy Cities.
