Sidney Kimmel Medical College Office of Admissions

Sidney Kimmel Medical College participates in the Early Decision Program. Students participating in this program must submit application and all credentials to the American Medical College Application Service no later than August 1 of the application year. A decision will be made concerning each application by October 1 so that candidates who are not offered places in the class have adequate time to seek acceptance to other medical schools.

A deferred admission option is available to all students who are accepted to Sidney Kimmel Medical College. Students wishing to apply for deferral should write to the Director of Admissions stating the reasons for deferral and their plans for the subsequent year(s). The Committee on Admissions encourages students to take advantage of intellectually and personally rewarding opportunities. Requests for deferred admission must be received no later than May 1.
