The Program in Cellular, Biochemical, & Molecular Science Training Grant will provide up to two years of support to students beginning in Year 2 in the PhD program. Note that MD/PhD students beginning in PhD Year 2 will also be considered for support. 

To be eligible for consideration, the NIH requires T32-supported trainees to be US citizens or have resident alien status. The successful candidates will receive an annual stipend, as well as limited funds for medical insurance and travel. Please note that acceptance of funding by the Training Grant also implies agreement to all components of the training program.

The complete application, which includes a cover sheet and the documents listed below, should be submitted by July 22, 2023. The materials that should be included in the application are:

1. Applicant Form (DOC)
   
2. Curriculum vitae or biosketch of the predoctoral fellow
3. Biosketch of the faculty mentor
4. A one page summary of the specific aims of the proposed research (this should be written by the student with input from the faculty mentor).
5. A one page description of the student’s career goals and any non-research component of the proposed training program (scientific writing, presentation, conferences, etc.)
6. A letter of support from the mentor, affirming his/her commitment to the training of the fellow, and providing any additional relevant information.
