Haley defended her thesis in September 2026 after training in the laboratory of Dr. Andrew Aplin in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Cancer Biology. Her thesis was entitled "Intrapatient heterogeneity and targeting microenvironmental resistance in melanoma metastases."
Jenna defended her thesis in April 2026 after training in the laboratory of Dr. Philip Wedegaertner in the Department of Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. Her thesis was entitled “Gbg and Gq-coupled GPCRs regulate the oncogenic activity of Gaq-Q209L/P in uveal melanoma.”
Melanie defended her PhD thesis in August 2026 after training in the laboratory of Dr. Sara Meyer in the Department of Pharmacology, Physiology & Cancer Biology. Her thesis was entitled “Epigenetic drivers and vulnerabilities in acute myeloid leukemia.”
Zachary defended his PhD thesis in August 2025, after training in the laboratory of Dr. Holly Ramage in the Department of Microbiology & Immunology. His thesis was entitled “Post-translational modifications of viral and host proteins regulate outcomes of Orthoflavivirus replication.”
