The Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Division at Thomas Jefferson University has a proud history of leadership in ultrasound education—locally, nationally, and globally. We are passionate about expanding access to high-quality ultrasound training and have developed and led numerous educational initiatives. In 2014, our division—together with students from Sidney Kimmel Medical College (SKMC)—founded Philly Ultrafest, a free, one-day POCUS symposium for medical students across the Philadelphia region. Our faculty have played a key role in the ongoing success of the Resuscitative Ultrasound Workshop at the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP), one of the premier national training events for emergency ultrasound.
We have had the opportunity to provide POCUS training across a number of specialties beyond EM across all healthcare learner types. Below some of our standard courses, but we can help arrange a courses to fit your needs.
