We offer two traditional POCUS fellowship positions each year for physicians trained in Emergency Medicine, providing a robust and immersive experience in clinical ultrasound, education, and research.
Eligibility & Tracks
- Traditional Track: Our traditional one-year EM POCUS fellowship was founded in 2011 and is accredited by the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship Accreditation Council (EUFAC). Applicants must be in their senior year of an ACGME-accredited Emergency Medicine residency program. Graduates of our traditional track are eligible to sit for the Focused Practice Designation (FPD) exam in Advanced Emergency Medicine Ultrasound (AEMUS).
- Non-Traditional Track: We have collaborated with physicians in other specialties (past examples include family medicine, internal medicine and nephrology) to create unique fellowship experiences varying in length. We can work with you to create a curriculum that meets your goals and needs from a month long mini-fellowship to a year-long fellowship that mimics our traditional EM based fellowship curriculum. These are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us directly to inquire about non-traditional opportunities.
