Hematopatholgy Fellowship

Thank you for your interest in our Hematopathology Fellowship program. Applications are currently being accepted for the 2026 - 2027 Hematopathology Fellowship which runs from July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 and the 2027 - 2028 Hematopathology Fellowship which runs from July 1, 2027 to June 30, 2028.

Application Process & Requirements

Fellowship candidates must be graduates of approved medical schools in the U.S. or Canada, or have graduated from a non-U.S./non-Canadian medical school and possess a completed ECFMG certificate. Satisfactory references are required. Thomas Jefferson University Hospital does sponsor J1 and H1B Visas.

Applicant packets must include:

  • Completed CAP standardized application form with current photograph included
  • Up-to-date Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation with at least one from current program director
  • Copy of your medical school transcript and/or Medical Student Performance Evaluation (formerly known as the Dean's Letter)
  • USMLE transcript
  • Copy of ECFMG, if applicable

Applications are reviewed once all of the above items are received by our fellowship program coordinator. Please be sure to track any items being submitted by alternate sources to ensure their delivery.
