Requirements

We will be participating in the 2025 NRMP Match for fellowship appointments beginning in July, 2026. For a list of key dates, please visit the Society for Hematopathology website. Interviews will begin in January, 2025. 

The following items must be submitted in their entirety to the Program Coordinator in order to be considered. The fellowship team cannot review your application until all items are received. 

  • Completed Graduate Training Application Form (PDF)
  • Current Curriculum Vitae
  • Copy of your medical school transcript and/or Medical Student Performance Evaluation (formerly known as the Dean's Letter)
  • USMLE transcript
  • Copy of ECFMG, if applicable
  • Current photograph
  • Two letters of recommendation with at least one from a pathologist

Candidates must be graduates of approved medical schools in the U.S. or Canada, or possess a completed ECFMG certificate if a graduate of a non-U.S./non-Canadian medical school. Satisfactory references are required. 

Application packets must be received in their entirety before January 10, 2025 to be considered for an interview for the 2026-2027 fellowship appointment.
