As part of this vibrant area, we are dedicated to the diverse population that our hospital serves.
Our department is dedicated to upholding the mission of excellence in clinical diagnostics, research, and education at the undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate levels. To achieve this mission, we are a diverse faculty that employs the most current technologies among a wide spectrum of interests including diagnostic pathology and laboratory medicine, translational research, basic research, and computational/systems biology. Our research and experience is always expanding and, as such, we offer outstanding opportunities within multiple funded research programs spanning matrix biology, retrovirology, pathophysiology of alcohol, neurosciences, visual sciences, and G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs).
