Group Visits

Thank you for your interest in arranging a group visit to Thomas Jefferson University! Group visits provide an opportunity for schools, organizations and clubs to visit to our East Falls Campus.

To get started, submit our Group Visit Request Form so we can begin to develop your group's customized visit experience. We encourage you to submit your visit request at least two weeks in advance of your intended visit date.

Group Visit Scheduling Update

All Spring 2024 Group Visits are full. Jefferson will resume Group Visit scheduling in August for visits starting in September 2024. Please contact Admissions at enroll@jefferson.edu or 215-951-2800 with questions.

Group visits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Visit dates tend to fill quickly. Our team will identify alternate options if your requested visit date is filled before your visit is confirmed.

Group visits consist of an information session, a campus tour and lunch provided by Jefferson. Optional academic program information sessions are available by request. Additional information about our group visit program is below:

  • Admissions Information Session (10:00 - 10:30 a.m.): join our admissions team for a 30 minute presentation that provides an overview of the University academic programs, application process, financial aid and student life.
  • Campus Tour (10:30 - 11:30 a.m.): our campus tours are led by a current student in our Admissions Rambassdor program (we are the Jefferson Rams, after all!) Students in your group will tour our cutting-edge simulation labs, design studios, collaborative Nexus Learning hubs, athletic centers, research libraries and more.
  • Lunch (11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.): visitors are provided lunch in one of our on-campus dining centers.

Academic Department Visits are an optional add-on that may be available before or after your scheduled admissions visit timeframe.

Keep the following in mind as you plan for your group visit:

  • Group visits are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the calendar year with a limited number of dates unavailable due to holidays or University break periods. All group visit experiences begin at 10:00 a.m.
  • All students in the group must be in atleast 10th grade. We're unable to accommodate requests from groups that include students younger than 10th grade at this time due to the volume of requests that we receive.
  • Groups cannot exceed 60 total students. For every ten (10) students, one (1) adult chaperone over the age of 18 must be present.
  • Group visits are held on our East Falls Campus. Group visit experiences are not currently available at our Center City, Dixon or Voorhees Campuses or at our Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing location.
  • Please hold on booking travel to Jefferson until you receive an email confirmation that your visit is scheduled. Not all group visit requests will be confirmed and our team needs time to throughly review your request to ensure that we can accomodate your group on campus.

  • Facial coverings are no longer required on our campuses; however, visitors may still wear a mask if they choose to do so.
  • Please reschedule your visit if any members of your group have a fever, are displaying other symptoms of COVID-19 or if any members of your group have been exposed to someone with a positive COVID-19 diagnosis within 14 days.
  • To ensure the safety of our students, staff and other guests, visitors may be asked to present identification upon entering campus buildings. Guests should carry a valid form of identification with them while on Jefferson's campus. This includes, but is not limited to, a school-issued ID and/or drivers license.

  • First-year and traditional transfer students study at our beautiful 104 acre park-like East Falls Campus just outside of Center City Philadelphia. Our East Falls Campus is located at 4201 Henry Avenue, Philadelphia, PA.
  • Drop-off and parking information will be shared via email once your visit to Jefferson is confirmed. We are able to accomodate cars, large vans and school buses on campus. Parking is free for guests attending our group visit program.
