Welcome to the 2024 Mid-Atlantic NIIMBL eXperience program, hosted by Thomas Jefferson University at the Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing! This exceptional program offers a unique opportunity designed to introduce Black, Latinx and indigenous college students to rewarding careers in the biopharmaceutical industry.

With hands-on training, industry networking and mentorship from accomplished professionals, you’ll gain valuable insights and skills to kickstart your career. Join us from June 3-7, 2024, for a week of immersive learning, site visits and personal branding workshops. Program Highlights:

Hands-On Learning: Immerse yourself in our state-of-the-art pilot plant facility for a week of practical training in bioprocessing techniques

Logistics

Dates: June 3-7, 2024

Location: Jefferson Institute for Bioprocessing (Lower Gwynedd, Pa) with transportation to off- site locations.

Lodging: Comfortable accommodations at the Residence Inn by Marriott, just minutes from the JIB facility (check-in June 2, 2024; check out June 7,  2024).

Stipend: Accepted applicants will receive a $1,000 stipend for this all expenses paid program

The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing of Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) eXperience fully aligns with NIIMBL’s mission and vision through efforts to educate and train a world-leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing workforce. Now in its fifth year,the program has greatly expanded to include five host sites.
