Students earn a BSN degree in 12 consecutive months of intensive full-time study.

Students will earn a BSN degree plus additional benefits:

  • Students earn a BSN and begin working towards their Master’s degree by earning nine (9) graduate credits during their one academic year
  • Course content and clinical experiences are scheduled to allow time to integrate theoretical concepts and constructs into clinical practice
  • Jefferson Nursing students learn clinical skills in a risk-free, simulated-patient environment that is one of the nation’s leading centers. Combined with their clinical practice at Jefferson Health Hospitals, BSN students graduate with excellent clinical skills
  • Admission to the Accelerated BSN Plus (ABSN+) - 1 Year Pathway program includes guaranteed admission to any MSN or DNP specialty* (excluding Nurse Anesthesia), valid for up to two years from completing the BSN with a minimum 3.20 cumulative GPA
  • Students have the opportunity to engage in a global clinical capstone experience through a partnership with Gemelli Hospital in Rome

The Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) programs can be completed either part-time or full-time.

Accelerated BSN Plus (ABSN+) - 1 Year/Midwifery Program Option

The College of Health Professions MS in Midwifery prepares graduates to provide midwifery care, including primary care of women and neonates, with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention across the lifespan. Graduates are eligible to earn the Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) credential from the American Midwifery Certification Board.
