Curriculum
The Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) is a 50-credit degree requiring the completion of 27 credits of core courses, 9 credits in concentration courses, 9 credits comprising practicums and 5 credits from live virtual cohorts and interactive experiences.
The full-time program is cohort-based, and all coursework is 100% online using weekly and monthly virtual cohort sessions to promote in-person engagement and collaboration among faculty and students. Weekly office hours (1 hour) are augmented with cohort meetings throughout the term to supplement course material and practicums. Monthly live virtual cohort sessions (4 hours) cover special topics with expert faculty in different healthcare and business sectors.
Students complete three practicums to satisfy degree requirements. Practicums may be individual or team-based using projects from healthcare organizations. Working professionals may choose to complete practicums using projects from their place of employment assuming all course requirements are met.
