• USMLE or COMLEX examinations: A Pass on Step/Level 1 is required for application review. A Pass on Step/Level 2 is required by the time of rank list certification.

In accordance with Jefferson GME policy and recommendations from the AAN, for the 2025 NRMP Match, we will conduct all residency interviews virtually. Scheduled selected applicants will be provided instructions via email on how to join us for the virtual interview in advance of their interview date.

Also in accordance with Jefferson GME policy, we will offer interviewed applicants the opportunity for an optional, non-evaluative in-person Second Look visit to our program in Philadelphia. These opportunities will be offered after completion of all virtual interviews and after submission and certification of our NRMP rank list. The rank order list will be submitted and certified with no knowledge of upcoming planned visits by applicants. We ask that applicants who are scheduling visits only communicate with the program coordinator and not with the Program Director or other faculty to help ensure this blinding. This policy also will be communicated during interview days.
