CITIES UNDER CLIMATE THREAT: Venice – Philadelphia: The impacts of climate change, driven by increasing extreme temperature, sea-level rise, and heavy precipitations, interact and play an essential role in the socio-economic and population health and the well-being of the citizens, especially in coastal cities like Venice and Philadelphia.

The symposium aligns with the institute’s mission to build more efficient, healthier and livable cities through ongoing research and education.
