Pre-Nursing Pathway

The key step to have a successful nursing career is getting a solid pre-professional and professional education. The accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program at Jefferson is a proven path to becoming a successful nurse. Jefferson graduates are recognized throughout the country as leaders in education, research, healthcare delivery and community service. 

In the Accelerated BS in Health Sciences - Pre-Nursing pathway program, students will complete all prerequisite coursework required to enter a BS in Nursing. Students will build strong skills in critical thinking and problem solving through foundation courses in the sciences, psychology and humanities. 

Students who successfully complete the Pre-Nursing pathway will be able to transition into the Jefferson’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), which is offered at the Center City Campus and the Dixon Campus.
